Craig Abercrombie started square dancing in 1962 and began his square dance calling career in 1969.

Following his retirement from the US Postal Service in the fall of 2002, Craig expanded his 36 year calling career by developing a full time calling program.

Craig is currently calling over 170 nights a year across the United States and Canada. Craig resides in the state of Oregon where he maintains a home program that ranges from Mainstream all the way through C-1, cues round dances from Easy Level through Phase 4 and, Calls for One Night Party Hoedown Dances some which are annual events.

Craig Abercrombie is an accredited member of CALLERLAB and is ASCAP/BMI licensed. Craig is Past President of the North Willamette Callers & Cuers Association.

Craig is a staff recording artist for Rawhide-Buckskin Records and previously recorded for Cascade Records.

Craig calls for individual clubs, weekends and, festivals having called at National, State and Area functions and, would love to call for your function as well.

Craig Abercrombie believes Square Dancing should be “FUN”, no matter what level is being called. Craig’s motto is – “If it’s not Fun, I will not do it!”
